On Saturday morning August 8, 2026 at 11am, The Monroe Historical Society will be holding its second Talk on the Green given by MHS Trustee and current Monroe Village Historian Paul Ellis-Graham.
The topic will be “Military Engagements and Strategies of the Revolutionary War, 1775-1781.”
Come and learn how our nation earned it’s independence after having declared themselves free from Great Britain!
The odds were great and the risks enormous. How did we ever pull it off?
