With extreme heat impacting our area, residents are encouraged to stay cool, stay hydrated, and check on neighbors, seniors, and anyone who may be vulnerable to the heat.

Heat Safety Tips:

• Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
• Spend time in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible.
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
• Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
• Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and those without air conditioning.
• Please stay safe and take precautions during this period of extreme heat.
