Purpose

The Code Enforcement Department administers and enforces the International and NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Property Maintenance Code regulations as well as the Village of Monroe Zoning laws pertaining to the location, design, materials, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, maintenance, use, occupancy, removal and demolition of structures located within the Village of Monroe.
